Environmental guidelines

To stipulate an environmental concept and integrate it into our entrepreneurial targets while making it transparent for our customers, suppliers, staff members and the public, we have recorded our guidelines for environmentally friendly production.
These guidelines shall integrate the environmental concept into our general company policy and serve our partners and employees as a basis for dealing and identifying with this environmental policy and bringing ideas and suggestions for improvement to bear.

We want to comply with the following guidelines and develop them further:

It is of special concern to our company to preserve our environment and the basis of life for future generations.

We can only achieve these targets by careful cooperation with our customers, suppliers and other partners.
Our employees are the most important partners in complying with all measures serving to protect the environment. We inform and train all our employees within the bounds of our possibilities and equip them so they are able to perform well under the best possible working conditions and at a reduced cost to the environment.

The materials used are carefully and critically examined for their environmental compatibility. As far as possible for a medium-sized manufacturing enterprise such as ours, we also take into account medium and long-term consequences including waste disposal.

Materials are calculated and procured carefully and used economically and appropriately. Materials and techniques are checked for possible ecological damage. Careful production and processing, ease of repair and reusability contribute to the optimization of our products' and materials’ life cycle.

To the best of our ability we want to avoid or reduce substances that are environmentally harmful. Whenever possible, the substances used are recycled.

All forms of energy are economically and specifically employed. If possible, renewable energies are used. All technical and organisational measures for saving energy are applied.

Constant observation and analyses within the scope of our possibilities enable us to detect and record substances and effects influencing our company or originating from it and help us to continually improve our environmental efforts.
